Repair requests

Acasa aims to ensure that students are comfortable in their accommodation. However, it is always possible that something may need fixing. If this is the case, Acasa endeavours to carry out repairs as soon as possible.

Terminating your tenancy

Foreign guests who wish to terminate their tenancy should notify Housing Office, giving at least 30 days’ notice. The Housing Office will notify Acasa and Acasa will send you written confirmation of the termination of your tenancy.

If you are renting a room directly from Acasa, there are three ways in which you can give notice of the termination of your tenancy. You can give notice of the termination of your tenancy on any day of the month as long as you give at least 30 days’ notice.

There are three ways in which you can give notice of the termination of your tenancy:

1. Online via the Termination of Tenancy Form

2. At the Acasa counter

3. By letter.

If you give notice of the termination of your tenancy by letter, please be sure to provide the following information:

The date on which you wish to terminate your tenancy, your address, email address, signature, new home and correspondence address, and telephone number.

Acasa will process your request to terminate your tenancy on receipt and will send you written confirmation of the termination of your tenancy. A preliminary and final inspection of your room will be carried out in your presence. The room must be returned in a condition that meets certain standards.
