What are the rules if property is damaged by tenants?
As a tenant you are obliged to keep the property you rent in a proper state of repair. This applies not only to your individual room, studio flat or apartment, but also to the communal areas. If you fail to keep your room and the communal areas in a proper state of repair, Acasa will charge you for the damage.

Who pays for damage in an accommodation group?
Acasa will hold all of the tenants in an accommodation group liable for the total cost of any damage to the property unless one or more tenants undertake to pay for the damage.
